I started photographing people in music, shooting artists for magazines before moving through fashion, editorial and news. It taught me quickly that there’s no single way to photograph a person.

Some portraits need direction. Some need conversation. Some need you to get out of the way.

I bring that experience to every portrait I make, working with the person, the brief and the situation to find something that feels natural rather than manufactured.

The aim isn’t simply to make someone look good. It’s to make a photograph that feels like them.
